About Me

Marcelo Ehrlich, PhD a Professor of Cell Biology at the Shmunis School of Biomedicine and Cancer Research, and currently serves as vice-dean for research of the Life Sciences Faculty. He holds, B.Mus, B.Sc., M.Sc. and PhD degrees from the Tel Aviv University. Opened in 2005, the Ehrlich laboratory at the Tel Aviv University focuses on the research of intracellular trafficking, signal transduction pathways and virus-cell interactions. As of today, the Ehrlich laboratory is studying cell autonomous immune mechanisms and their modulation in tumor cells, antiviral responses, and oncolytic virotherapy. Current funding sources for research in the Ehrlich laboratory include the Israel Science Foundation, the German Research Foundation and the Rosetrees Trust.
