Scientific Manager
Moni Shahar (PhD) holds first degrees in Mathematics, Physics and Computer Science, and holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering from Tel Aviv University.
In the last 4 years Moni is the scientific manager of the Center of AI in Tel-Aviv University. Prior to that he worked for more than 25 years in a variety of algorithmic leadership positions in the high-tech industry. His work spans many areas including machine vision, NLP, algorithmic finance, machine learning and applied physics.
In parallel to his industrial job, he teaches in the Department of Statistics and has published over 30 scientific papers.
