About Me

Prof. Uri Nevo holds a degree in physics and completed his postdoctoral Fulbright fellowship at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) in Bethesda, MD. Since 2009, he has been a faculty member in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at Tel Aviv University and is also affiliated with the Sagol School of Neuroscience. Prof. Nevo's research primarily focuses on two areas: the development of innovative techniques related to portable MRI systems and the exploration of biophysical aspects in complex systems, particularly the immune system and the nervous system. He played a pivotal role in establishing the President Peres' program, which nurtures future scientists and inventors in Israel (currently known as the Odyssey program). Additionally, he has served as the Chair of the Department of Biomedical Engineering and co-founded both Lifegraph and Agile MRI companies.
